Data Migration Engineer

We are seeking an innovative and motivated problem solver to join our team as an Entry-Level CAD/PLM Data Migration Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to build expertise in CAD, PLM, databases, and programming while working alongside experienced engineers on cutting-edge digital transformation projects. You will contribute to CAD and PLM data migration initiatives that support leading manufacturing industries, including aerospace, automotive, electronics, and medical devices. This role offers hands-on experience in one of the fastest-growing areas of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support CAD and PLM data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.

  • Apply programming and database skills.

  • Configure and automate migration tools and processes.

  • Troubleshoot migration and data management issues through root-cause analysis.

  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver successful PDM/PLM migrations.

  • Develop technical documentation and reports.

  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve processes and solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or relevant CAD/PLM experience).

  • Willingness to relocate to Spokane, Washington.

  • 0–3 years of experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with SQL and databases.

  • Programming knowledge in Java, C#, C++, or Visual Basic.

Preferred Competencies

  • Exposure to CAD or PLM systems such as Creo, SOLIDWORKS, NX, CATIA, Inventor, AutoCAD, Windchill, Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE, Aras, or PDM systems.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
